This privacy policy explains how we process your personal data when you use our website and our Ambr Marketing Platform (the Service).  We will comply with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.

Ambr Corporation Limited is the data controller.
This means we collect personal data. Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. We decide on the purpose or outcome of collecting this data.  We decide what personal data we collect.  We decide which individuals to collect personal data about.  We  process this personal data as a result of a contract between us (Ambr Corporation Ltd) and the data subject (you).

What type of personal data do we collect?

We may collect personally identifiable data when you specifically and knowingly provide it to us.  When you register to use the Service you are asked to provide information which may include items of  personal data such as  first and last name, Instagram Username, gender, address, categories of interest regarding social media marketing and other information which can be attributed to you,the data subject. 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of third parties that we link with but do not own or control. (Usually referred to as Third Party Services or TPS). For example, the Ambr Marketing Platform uses the services of Instagram as a TPS.  As a user of Instagram you are agreeing to be bound by the Instagram Terms of Service. We take no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of any TPS. 

Ambr will ask for your consent to access information from your Instagram account.  The extent of information Ambr can access is strictly controlled by the Instagram Application Programming Interface (API).

Why do we have your personal information?

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: (a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. (b) We have a contractual obligation.

How do we use the personal data we collect?

We use personal data solely for the purpose for which it has been provided, which may include:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

  • To manage your account, including to communicate with you regarding your account.

  • To match Customers with Ambassadors; we therefore share the personal data you have provided with our Customers.

  • To facilitate any campaigns you participate in.

  • To respond to your comments and questions and to provide customer service and support. 

  • To comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.

You may always choose not to provide personally identifiable information, but if you so choose, certain parts of the Service may not be available to you. If you have registered an account with us, you will have agreed to provide your personally identifiable information in order to access the Services. This consent provides us with the legal basis we require under applicable law to process your personal data. You maintain the right to withdraw such consent at any time.

Ambr uses industry standard security measures to protect your personal data. Your personal data is stored on secure servers and access to this data is protected by multi-layered security controls.
